Welcome !!

Events and Notices
All of us depend on soil, water, air, plants and animals to survive. These limited natural resources are the source of our food, shelter, clothing and recreation. The Cass County Soil Conservation District provides technical, financial and educational assistance to help both rural and urban communities conserve, protect and restore the foundation of these natural resources: soil and water. We hope you find this web site a useful tool in working together to ensure the sustainable use of our shared resources.

Our Mission:

The mission of the Cass County Soil Conservation district is to inform, educate and provide leadership in conservation and stewardship of soil, water and related natural resources.

All board meetings are scheduled to be held on the 3rd Tuesday of each month at the USDA Service Center conference room unless otherwise posted. Next board meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, July 15, 2008 at the USDA Service Center. Call for further information.

New for the 2009 season: The district is required to charge ND State Sales Tax on all of our products, which includes handplant's, that we sell to the public. Our services, tree planting, weed barrier installation, chemical application and grass seeding, are non-taxable.
