Conservation Studies Scholarship
The Cass County Soil Conservation District scholarship is open to high school seniors who are residents of or attending high school in Cass County, North Dakota who intend to pursue a degree in an agricultural/natural resource management/environmental or related field at a four year university in the state of North Dakota. Three scholarships will be awarded in amounts of $1000, $750, and $500.
Interested applicants are required to complete the application form and compose an essay of no more than 500 words on one of the following topics chosen by the Cass County Soil Conservation District. Applications and essays are due at the Cass County Soil Conservation District office by COB Friday, March 31, 2009. Essays will be judged by Cass County Soil Conservation District, Natural Resources Conservation Service, and RC & D personnel. Scholarship winners will be notified by May 15, 2008.
